SUPER HEROES AT THE MET!!!!

The Metropolitan Museum of Art (AKA The MET) (http://www.metmuseum.org) in NYC has an exhibition open about Super Heroes and fashion. It basically shows the correlation between super hero culture and couture fashion. It is a must see. Many original costumes from your comic book heroes are on display along side couture items that seem just as UNCANNY! All and all I was really impressed with THIERRY MUGLER's (http://www.thierrymugler.com) presentations. Also many of the backdrops are adorned with macro size pictures from ALEX ROSS (http://www.alexrossart.com) . Alas if you think that you will come off with some photos for nostalgia or inspiration your dead wrong because the museums storm troopers are peering at each and every corner.

When Tilla mook Cheddar, the world’s most famous canine fine artist came to the studio to do voice overs. Tillie’s assistant, F. Bowman Hasties, sent over a ryder and not only did the dog fill out the paperwork but demanded meatball sandwiches. We delivered the meatballs and the dog delivered an oscar winning performance.
